High Net Worth Mortgages
The definition of high net worth as outlined by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is a customer with earnings no less than £300,000 pa or net assets no less than £3 million. Assets can include equity in residential property. We work with lenders who can offer bespoke rates for HNW customers.
As property prices in and around London and our other big metropolitan cities continue to rise into the millions, you may find that you need a larger mortgage to secure the kind of home you want to live in. The problem is that many high street lenders simply won’t lend above the £1m mortgage mark.
Firco is an expert in helping high net worth and high income clients to arrange larger mortgages. We approach specialist lenders and private banks who we know are willing to lend on a larger scale, particularly if the borrower is supported by a professional mortgage broker like Firco.
It is safe to say that the worldwide mortgage market covers a variety of different scenarios, different clients all with different financial situations. While most “off-the-shelf” mass market mortgage products offer enough variation for traditional markets, this is not always the case with high net worth mortgages and HNW individuals. Complex financial situations may require a bespoke mortgage arrangement to suit all parties. In general, there is often a greater need for flexibility, visibility and access to significant finance.
We don’t tend to publish mortgage rates on our website – ever more so for high net worth mortgages. In most cases rates are negotiable and based squarely on the individual circumstances of the borrower, their plans, assets and income.
Firco is an independent mortgage broker that has strong relationships with the key lenders in the UK mortgage market, including those private banks who do not have a high-street presence. We arrange bespoke mortgage solutions for our clients, providing a tailored one-to-one advisory service, delivered face-to-face or remotely, depending on what suits you.
